« FastTrack provides essential technology for the exchange of data between many authors rights societies via its CIS-Net platform. Its current and future functionality and services will be very important for the accurate and efficient administration of authors rights. FastTrack technology will also be used in the development and construction of the Global Repertoire Database. It’s an honor to be able to make a contribution to that process » said van der Ree.
In addition to Hein van der Ree, SOCAN’s Eric Baptiste has been appointed as Vice-Chair of the FastTrack Board of Directors.
« With the right direction, development and implementation, the positive potential for FastTrack is huge. As the name itself suggests, it’s vital that we work quickly and accurately, so that we can collectively deliver the right system for rights holders » said Baptiste.
